REFUND & RETURN POLICY: BOYEDOE

At Boyedoe, each garment is a piece of wearable art, meticulously crafted through the process of deconstruction and reconstruction. Because we prioritize ethical production and the "Sankofa" philosophy, our returns process is designed to minimize waste while ensuring customer satisfaction.
1. 14-DAY RETURN WINDOW
We offer a 14-day return period for all standard "Ready-to-Wear" items. This window begins the day your order is delivered. To be eligible, your item must be:
- Unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.
- Accompanied by all original tags and "Boyedoe" packaging.
- Free from scents, makeup marks, or signs of wear.
2. MADE-TO-ORDER & BESPOKE ITEMS
Items marked as "Made-to-Order" or custom-sized are final sale. Because these pieces are created specifically for you, they are not eligible for a refund or exchange unless they arrive with a confirmed manufacturing defect. We encourage you to consult our [Size Guide] or contact our studio for fitting advice before placing these orders.
3. THE UPCYCLING DISCLAIMER (NATURAL VARIATIONS)
Boyedoe specializes in upcycled denim. Slight variations in wash, tonal fading, or structural stitch marks are intentional characteristics of the design. These are not considered defects and do not qualify for a "Damaged Goods" refund. They are the mark of a one-of-one sustainable piece.
4. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
- Request: Email studio@boyedoe.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Approval: Once approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address in Accra.
- Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties/taxes. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.
5. REFUNDS & PROCESSING
- Inspection: Once your return is received, it will undergo a quality inspection.
- Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 10–14 business days.
- Deductions: Please note that original shipping charges and any non-refundable transaction fees (e.g., credit card processing fees) are non-refundable.
6. EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get the right size is to return the item you have for a refund (if eligible) and make a separate purchase for the new item.
